Richard A. DeMichele, Jr.

Richard A. DeMichele, Jr. is a seasoned litigator, devoting the majority of his practice to family law matters, including domestic violence. Mr. DeMichele's practice includes trial and appellate level family law matters. His clients are not only high net worth individuals but also those of modest means whom are going through a divorce or seeking post divorce relief. Rick is routinely called upon to advise his clients in the areas of alimony, equitable distribution, child custody, child support, visitation, asset valuation, no fault divorce, prenuptial agreements, counsel fee awards and domestic violence.
Mr. DeMichele is a national, state and local bar association leader. He is a Delegate to the American Bar Association's House of Delegates and a former Trustee of the New Jersey and Camden County Bar Associations. In addition, Mr. DeMichele is the First Vice President for the Camden County Bar Association and the chair of its Family Law Committee. Mr. DeMichele is a frequent seminar moderator and speaker for the Camden County Bar Association. Rick has been featured on the Associations television program Legal Lines.
Mr. DeMichele serves on the American Bar Association's Section of Family Law's Continuing Legal Education Committee. The CLE committee is responsible for selecting and producing the legal education programs at the section's meetings. Rick also serves the ABA as a member of it's Commission on Domestic Violence and as the General Practice Section's Family Law Coordinator. He previously served as council member of the ABA's Section of Family Law.
Mr. DeMichele's legal skills have been recognized by several New Jersey publications. In June of 2006 Mr. DeMichele was selected by New Jersey Super Lawyer as a Rising Star. In January 2003 South Jersey Magazine chose him as one of South Jersey's 33 People to Watch.
Richard is a graduate of Cherry Hill High School East (1987), Rutgers University College of Engineering (1992), and Villanova University School of Law (1995). Rick now lives in Haddonfield with his wife Sharon and his two daughters Amanda and Elizabeth.
Mr. DeMichele is admitted to practice in every state court in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. He is also admitted to practice in the United States Supreme Court and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey as well as the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
