Camden County Bar Opposes Rutgers Camden and Rowan Merger

Last week the Camden County Bar Association passed a resolution opposing the proposed Rutgers Camden and Rowan University merger.  The text of the resolution can be found by clicking here. The Camden County Bar Association has a long history of working in conjunction with Rutgers Camden Law School.  The Association expressed its concerns regarding the impact of the quality of education at the law school and the impact on the community at large.  There has been considerable public opposition to the planned merger.  According to a Rutgers Eagleton Poll the majority of New Jersey voters do not support the merger.  You can read the Eagleton survey results by clicking here.
