DC Court of Appeals We're pleased to announce that Matthew T. Rooney, Esquire will be formally admitted to practice before the District of Columbia Court of Appeals later this morning in Washington, D.C.  Matt will be sworn in before a panel of three judges. Having an attorney admitted in Washington DC is a first for DeMichele & DeMichele.  The firm is proud to now be able to represent it's clients in our nation's capitol. Prior to joining DeMichele & DeMichele, P.C. as an associate, he served as Law Clerk to the Honorable Nan S. Famular, J.S.C. of the New Jersey Superior Court, Family Part in Camden County.  Matt is also a graduate of the  Rutgers School of Law-Camden and Paul VI High School in Haddonfield. While Mr. Rooney is a native South Jerseyan, he also has significant roots in the District of Columbia.  Before he began his legal education at Rutgers, he earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the Catholic University of America,  He graduated Summa Cum Laude, and was also a member of the PHI BETA KAPPA honors society. Matt is an active member of the Camden County Bar Association and the  New Jersey State Bar Association.
