Chief Justice Rabner Releases Video on New Jersey Bail Reform
In November of 2014, the voters of New Jersey approved an amendment to the New Jersey state constitution that allows a judge set an appropriate amount of bail based upon concerns the court had that the person, if released, would not return to court, is a threat to the safety of another person or the community, or will instructor attempt to instruct the criminal justice process. Chief Justice Stuart Rabner recently released the following YouTube video explaining the changes associated with New Jersey's bail reform. The video is below:
